Advances in Diagnosis and Treatment of Diastolic Heart Failure

Diastolic heart failure is a kind of congestive heart failure which have something wrong with its diastolic function.Epidemiology study showed that diastolic heart failure is very common,of which about one third patients have normal ventricular systolic function.The diagnosis of it based on clinical manifestation and laboratory has its limit.Now days,the therapy of this disease depends on its pathophysiology,small sample clinical study and therapeutic experience from systolic heart failure.the prognosis of it is jut like that of systolic heart failure.In this article,we introduced the progress of diastolic heart failure in its diagnosis and therapy in order to attract more attention of clinical doctors to that.
