Abstract

[Objective] To study the effective method to treat benign prostate hyperplasia(BPH).[Method] TURP TUVP has been carried out in 349 patients with BPH.[Results] The procedure was successful and the results were satisfactory in all 349 cases,with no serious complication.Qmax increased from 6.3 mL/s preoperatively to 16.5 mL/s postoperatively(P0.05) in 303 follow-up patients.[Conclusion] The result showed that TURP and TUVP is a simple and reliable method for treat BPH.
