On the Construction of the Ethic System Within the Framework of Socialist Market Economy

To consolidate the scialist ideological and ethic system is a vital part in the development of advanced culture. With regard to the construction of a socialist ethic system in this new century, the development of the socialist market economy has raised new requirements. To establish such a system, in theory, it requires, on the basis of socialist humanitarianism, setting up new criteria for moral evaluation, integrating political, economic, social and ecological ethics and improving ethic norms governing professional, social and family ethics; In practice, efforts should be made to strengthen the role of ethics as a guide and to construct public morality of socialist market economy; meanwhile efforts should be highlighted in the moral education of our cardres and the young; institutions needs further improving, to seek a meeting point between moral and legal construction.
