Analysis of the Treatment of Recurrent Inverted Papilloma in Paranasal Sinus and Nasal Cavity

Objective Research for the treatment of recurrent inverted papilloma inside paranasal sinus and nasal cavity.Methods Operate on 26 cases with recurrent inverted papilloma inside paranasal and nasal cavity,with external nasal operation combined with endonasal resection under an endoscope and with bleomycin plasteng on the operated cavity after operation.Results Of the 26 cases,after 1～3 years' follow-up,24 were cured,and two recurred at a curative rate of 92.3%Conclusion A synthetical ntreatment of exteral nasal operation,with intra nasal endoscope resection plus medication,is of great significance in treating recurred invertecl papilloma in paranasal sinus and nasal cavity.
