Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of Lamivudine combined with compound Biejiaruan tablets in the treatment of hepatitis B patients with hepatic fibrosis and the changes of serum markers. Methods Eightseven cases of chronic hepatitis B with hepatic fibrosis were randomly divided into lamivudine plus Biejiaruan tablet therapy(treatment group) and Hugan Tablet treatment (control group) to observe the changes in the liver functions and liver fibrosis markers:hyaluronic acid(HA) and IV collagen(CIV) levels. The results of each group were compared. Results The treatment group showed a significant decrease in the expression of hyaluronic acid(HA) and IV collagen(CIV) level than those of control group(P0.01). Conclusion Lamivudine plus Biejiaruan tablet therapy showed better clinical efficacy in the treatment of hepatitis B patients with liver fibrosis.
