The Effects of Misoprostol Combined with Lidocaine for Anesthesia in Scar Uterus Abortion

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of misoprostol combined with lidocaine for anesthesia in scar uterus abortion.Methods 40 patients with scar uterus who required voluntary termination of pregnancy was equally divided into two groups,the control group was undergone the induced abortion after anesthesia with lidocaine,based on the control group,the treatment group was given the vaginal treatment with misoprostol.Results The total effective rate of analgesia was 90.0% in the treatment group and 65.0% in the control group,the clinical efficiency of the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group(P 0.05),2 h post-partum bleeding in the treatment group was less than the control group(P 0.05),by the comparsion of the number of cases of adverse reactions in the two groups after treatment,the difference was not statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion Misoprostol combined with lidocaine for anesthesia in scar uterus abortion has good analgesic effect and can prevent post-partum hemorrhage,the technical requirements are not high,the operate is simply,the side effect is few,so it deserves popularizing and using.
