Abstract

Objective To observe the effect of bilateral thoracic sympathectomy with single hole and thoracoscopy in palmar hyperhidrosis patients.Method 105 palmar hyperhidrosis patients were underwent general anesthesia with tracheal intubation.Bilateral thoracic sympathectomy were underwent with single hole(the diameter was 5 mm) and thoracoscopy.Result All the operation were favorable. After operation, the symptom disappeared. The average operation time was 24 min,and the temperature increased for 2.6 ℃.The chest wall incision pain score was 3.0±0.6,and the average hospital stay time was 1.5.The scar disapeared 3 months after operation. Conclusion The effect of bilateral thoracic sympathectomy with single hole and thoracoscopy in palmar hyperhidrosis patients is satisfactory.
