Abstract
Taking the bottom water reservoir in H oilfield of 1/2/4 area in Sudan as an example,by means of water drive characteristic curves and rapid prediction method of recoverable reserves, the oil recovery of this reservoir was predicted, the sweep efficiency and ultimate well-controlled area were estimated, and the relationship between well-controlled area and ultimate oil recovery in H oilfield was established for the purpose of reducing production decline and enhancing oil recovery. The results show that H oilfield is of greater well pattern infill potential in stage of ultra-high water-cut.For H-01 block, numerical simulation and infill adjustment study is conducted using step optimized method, and the optimized infill scenario is proposed, including infill horizontal well and sidetrack well. The prediction results indicate that this scenario can enhance oil recovery by 3.02% more than the basic scenario.
