Abstract
Against the background of the Hero Bridge in Nanchang, this paper presents the difficulties and key points of construction control of the hybrid girder cable-stayed bridge with a single column inclined pylon, the principle of determination of the rational completed bridge state and the method for determination of the cable forces during construction and also analyzes the sensitivity of various structural parameters of such type of the bridge. The results of testing of the completed bridge show that the geometric shape of the main girder of the bridge satisfies the design requirements, the structural stress conditions are good and the differences between the cable forces and the theoretic values are less than 5%.
