Abstract
To provide effective guidance for construction of the main bridge(a steel and concrete hybrid girder cable-stayed bridge with a single pylon) of the Xiangyun Bridge in Taiyuan and to ensure the structural safety of the bridge in the construction process,the calculation of the structural internal forces in the construction should be checked and the analysis of the influence amount of the structural parameters should be made.The finite element models for various construction stages of the bridge were therefore established by the software MIDAS Civil,the structure of the bridge was calculated and analyzed and the rational completed bridge status and initial tensile forces of the stay cables were determined by the forward iteration method.The results of the analysis show that the stay cable forces and steel box girder weight of the completed bridge are the structural sensitivity parameters that should be particularly identified in the modification of the parameters in the theoretic calculation.The internal forces of the bridge in the construction process and at the completed bridge stage can meet the relevant requirements in the codes.The measurements of the stay cable forces of the completed bridge and the calculation of the force conditions of the bridge at operation stage also show that the various structural parameters of the bridge can meet the requirements as well.
