Abstract

Muscle spindle is a proprioceptor in the skeletal muscle. Its structure and function are very complicated. The distributing and structure of muscle spindle;the classification and innervation of intrafusal fibers;and the function of muscle spindle in stretch reflex, proprioception and analgesia are re- viewed.
