Abstract
Excitation of the main motor at rest is a guarantee in achieving the bifunctional brushless synchronous machine. This article puts forward a single-phase AC excitation project of electromotor state about bifunctional synchronous AC machine. It analyzes the theory of this project and educed the expressions of faradism in armature of excitation motor. Simulations and contrastive experiments between DC excitation and single-phase AC excitation are made. The results make know that the project of the single-phase AC excitation can offer excitation from the rest state to the rated speed. The theory and the results of the simulations and experiments are coincident.
