Abstract
Objective: To compare the the clinical effect of tolterodine combined with naftopidil and that of tolterodine alone for female overactive bladder(OAB).Methods: Thirty-five female patients with OAB were randomly divided into tolterodine plus naftopidil treatment group A(group A,n=18) and tolterodine alone treatment group(group B,n=17).The effects were evaluated with urodynamic data including frequency of micturiation and incontinence, maximum flow rate(Qmax),first desire to void(FDV),and maximum cystometric capacity(MCC).Results: The changes of frequency of micturiation and incontinence,Qmax,FDV,and MCC had significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Respectively,all the urodynamic data of group A showed significant improvement, compared with those of group B.Conclusion: Tolterodine combined with naftopidil could be an effective method for female overactive bladder.
