Abstract
Objective To explore the best treatment for chronic urticaria. Methods 80 outpatients with chronic urticaria were randomized to two groups; experimental group was treated with desloratadine and ranitidine, the control group with desloratadine only. Results The effectiveness rate in experimental group was 90.0%, 82.5%for the control group. There were significant differences of total severity scores between two groups after a 28-day duration of treatment(P0.001), experimental group was superior to the control group. Conclusion Desloratadine combined with ranitidine were effective, safe in the treatment of chronic urticaria.
