Abstract
A new spring wheat cultivar Shenmian2135 bred by Shenyang Agricultural University was highly resistant to wheat powdery mildew.A powdery mildew resistance gene from Shenmian2135 was identified,and genetic analysis indicated that it was a single dominant gene.One marker Xwmc376/420 linked to the resistance gene was developed.The distance between the marker and the resistance gene was estimated to be 5.4cM.
