Color Doppler Utrasonography in the Diagnosis of Indirect Inguinal Hernia

Abstract

Objective To study the clinical value of Color Doppler ultrasonography in the diagnosis of indirect inguinal hernia.Methods We reviewed and analysed 40 cases indirect inguinal hernia diagnosised by Color Doppler utrasound.Results Forty cases were diagnosed accurately on sonograms,3 cases of them were nested hernia.Conclusions Ultrasonography is a convenient,quick and accurate method in the diagnosis of indirect inguinal hernia.
