Abstract
Hydrobiology has been one of the basic professional courses of aquaculture.In order to meet the needs of subject development,hydrobiology is becoming one of the basic professional courses of water environmental monitoring and protecting major.The reform of the current hydrobiology curriculum was made.The curriculum system on hydrobiology for water environmental monitoring and protecting major,including theory,experiment and practice,was founded and the effect of reform was significant.Based on this,the developmental prospects of hydrobiology are proposed.
