Abstract
Objective To optimize the optimum extracting process of Rhizoma Curcumae by orthogonal design. Methods An orthogonal design table L 9(34)was used with the factors of soaking time;extraction time;water-adding amount and medicinal size. Results The factors influencing the extraction efficiency were as follows:extraction timemedicinal sizesoaking timewater-adding amount. The optimum extraction condition obtained was soaking 12 hours, extraction time 5 hours,7 folds of the materials weight and size for the granular medicine. Conclusion The optimized process is scientific and reasonable, which could guarantee the quality of product effectively.
