On Shi Su's Contribution to the Historical Annotating Method of Poems Annotation

Chinese classical history and poem annotatation developed prosperously in Song Danasty.In this age,scholors created a new method named demonstrating meaning of poem by history.Shi su,who lived in South Song Dynasty,supplemented the annotations of theme for his father Shi Yuanzhi's poems.In the annotations of theme,he accepted a famous poet Lu yu's point,used the method named demonstrating meaning of poem by history.From the people or event in the theme,Shi Su quoted plenty of authentic datums,brought forth the politics backdrop of Su Shi's poems,opened out the causation of Su Shi's poems,so that made clear the whole poem's meaning,incidentally,he explained the meaning of some pivotal sentence.These annotations of theme,created a new method for poem's annotation in Song Dynasty,which possessed important status in the history of poem annotation.
