Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression and significance of HIF-1a,vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and microvessel density(MVD) in endometrial adenocarcinoma. Methods The SP immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of HIF-1a,VEGF and MVD in 40 cases of endometrial adenocarcinoma,18 cases of simple hyperplasia and 22 cases of complex hyperplasia.Result HIF-1α,VEGF and MVD were expressed in endometrial adenocarcinoma tissues, and the positive rates are graduatly rises in simple hyperplasia, complex hyperplasia and endometrial carcinoma. There was relationship between HIF-1α,VEGF and MVD(r= 0.109,P0.05).and there was relationship between VEGF and MVD(r=0.106,P0.05).Conclusion The overexpression of HIF-1α,VEGF and MVD may play an important role in the carcinogenesis of endometrial carcinoma. The overexpression of HIF-1α induces the tumor angiogenesis by VEGF.
