Abstract
The problem of double stage passive vibration isolation system is analyzed in this paper.Additional third mass-spring-damper system as the isolator's vibration absorber is added to the mass of the first stage of the isolator, which has the ability to depress the second model resonance of the isolator, and at the same time keep good vibration isolation performance in high frequencies. The parameters of the vibration absorber are optimized with genetic algorithm. The method is testified feasible through the stimulation analysis and the ex- perimental studies, and the vibration isolation performance is improved.
