Beauty of Nature, Beauty of Harmony-A Preliminary: Analysis of the Taoist Culture in Wang Zengqi's Story

Wang Zengqi's story has described the beauty of the world and humanity in a natural state, as well as the harmonious beauty between human and nature, which is a higher level's pursuit in spirit's field, surmounting material gain and mundane, also is a kind of utopia people yearning for leading a better life. With the fierce competition in market economy, and today the self-development is emphasized increasingly, it's significant to research on the beauty of Taoist culture in Wang's story. This paper aims to initially analyze the Taoist culture displayed by Wang's novel from the aspects of “living space”, “humanity life” and “spiritual field”, and then recognize the mystery for why the beauty in his novel has such longstanding and staying power.
