Abstract

The second reform waves of the international basic science education has risen since the 1980's.With the aim of fostering scientific quality,many countries have taken some common measures to promote the reform,which include: giving priority to theory as a conceptual direction for science education reform;issuing policy documents and developing standards of science education reform;implementing the curriculum reform widely with the aim of scientific education;reforming the pattern of science teachers' education and training,and establishing the standards for science teachers;integrating resources in and outside school to ensure the resources needed in science education.
