Sports Leisure Industry in the Construction of Urbanization in China

Abstract

Under the background of economic increase and rapid urbanization of Chinese society,starting with the concept of sports leisure industry and its classification,the interactive relationships between urbanization and sports leisure industry are discussed in this paper.It mainly analyzes the function of sports leisure industry in terms of the relationships between sports leisure industry and economic growing,between sports leisure industry and the progress of a city,and between sports leisure industry and employment.The paper holds that the sports leisure industry is very important during the urbanization process and it should be implemented in step with the city constructions.
