Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical value and status of specific antibody of mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP) and chlamydia pneumoniae (CP) in the patients with aged chronic bronchitis. Methods The positive rate of anti- MP and anti- CP were detected in 59 cases of aged chronic bronchitis and 48 normal controls by indirect enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).Results The positive rate of anti- MP and anti-CP was 72.9%, it is significantly higher than that of normal control group. Conclusion The infection of MP and CP can lead to aged chronic bronchitis, which should be paid more attention to.
