Abstract

With the help of a 3D rock mass non-contact measuring system(3GSM) and point load strength test for rock, the drillability, blastability and integrity of the rock in a mine were graded based on the geological survey conducted for it.On this basis, the blasting boulder yield was calculated through an on-site blasting test to evaluate the blasting effect. Also taking boulder yield as an indicator, the relationships among boulder yield, drilling and blasting cost, loading and transportation cost,as well as secondary crushing cost were obtained. After the linear regression analysis,a comprehensive cost model was established, which can provide some guidance for improving operation efficiency and optimizing production cost in the mine.
