Abstract

With the help of a three-dimensional rock mass non-contact measuring system(3GSM) and point load strength test, the geological of an open limestone mine was surveyed. The robustness of the rock was simulated and the blastability of the rock is graded. At the same time, through the on-site blasting test, the blast effect was evaluated. With boulder yield as the independent variable, the relationship between the boulder yield and the cost of drilling, blasting, packing, conveying and secondary crushing were identified. The linear regression was used to establish the total cost mode with the comprehensive cost as the objective function. The range of the boulder yield under the optimal cost is obtained. On this basis,we optimal designed the blasting parameters of the mine, which can provide guidance for the mine to reduce the production costs. It also can provide reference for the similar mine.
