Abstract

Objective To determine contents of trace elements in the Allium chinese. Methods The sample was digested by HNO3. Five trace elements including Fe,Zn,Mg,Ca and Mn in samples were analyzed by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Results It showed that the content of Ca in the sample was the highest, followed by Mg, Fe, Zn, and Mn. In addition, recoveries of these microelements were ranged from96. 18% to 101. 9%,and the RSD was less than 2. 5%. Conclusion As one of the traditional chinese medicine and Chinese food, Allium chinese contains reasonable percentage of trace elements, which could be the reference to its qualification study. The method is simple, accurate, reliable and reproducible.
