Significance and Tactics of Promoting and Perfecting Credit System in Colleges and Universities

The development of credit system in colleges and universities in China is reviewed.The drawbacks of school year system and credit system as well as the significance of implementing credit system are analyzed.It is pointed out that implementation of the credit system has a positive role to promote higher education reform and improve the quality of the training.The specific strategies to draft scientific selective system,to implement tutorial system and student evaluation system and to establish multidimensional student administration system are put forward.
