Abstract
The implementation of credit system is an important measure to continue the reform of teaching management. From the historical and realistic point of view, with its historical development and the present situation overseas as the basis, the paper analyses the necessity of implementing the credit system in colleges and universities and presents some problems in carrying out the credit system.
