Comparison of Chinese and Western sport culture through history

The comparison of the Chinese and Western sport culture from the historical and cultural(perspectives) demonstrated that during the different historical processes,recreation and sports can reflect the development of the Chinese and Western sports,which are featured by conservativeness and openness separately.The Western sports emphasize being recreational while the Chinese sports focus on success and failure.In this paper,how the Chinese traditional sports can meet the challenges brought by the Olympic Games and how the world sports culture will develop are expounded.
