Abstract
From perspective of comparative analysis of differences between eastern sports culture and western sports culture, thesis points out that Chinese sports culture focuses on such ideas as, nature and self as one and the harmonious development of man and nature. Owing to these characteristics, Chinese traditional sports cater for value orientation of today's people and their wish for leisure sports. Therefore, Chinese traditional sports have great potential in future development.
