Effect evaluation of comprehensive nursing intervention on the life quality of diabetes mellitus patients

Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on life quality of patients with diabetes mellitus.Methods124 cases of diabetes mellitus in our hospital from 2009 to 2011 years were randomly divided into observation group and control group,62 cases in each group,patients in control group were given routine nursing,the patients in the observation group were given nursing intervention based on the routine nursing care.Used the activity of daily living scale(ADL) and life quality evaluation questionnaire(GQOL-74) to evaluate life quality of patients in two groups.Results Patients in observation group after comprehensive nursing intervention,the ADL and GQOL-74 score were higher than those in the control group,the difference between two groups was statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion Taking effective comprehensive nursing intervention to patients with diabetes mellitus can improve the life quality of patients,it has an important significance,so giving some nursing intervention to the diabetic mellitus patients during the treatment is important.
