Expanding nursing service based on patients needs

Abstract
Objective To investigate patients’ satisfaction and needs to nursing service and expand the contents of nursing service.Methods A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the patients’ satisfaction,the most satisfied items of nursing service,the concerns during hospitalization and the nursing service need to be further improved.Results The patients showed satisfaction with nursing service and various needs.The most concerns were nurses’ techniques and professional knowledge.They hoped nurses to strengthen health education and rehabilitation guidance.Conclusion The investigation of patients’ needs to nursing service can provide reference for the improvement of nursing service and the development of nursing science.
