Comparison of two methods for relief of acute pain of nerve root type of cervical spondylosis

Objective To explore the more suitable for the treatment of acute pain relief of nerve root type of cervical spondylosis by the comparison of two different therapeutic methods for acute pain of nerve root type cervical spondylosis.Methods 61 cases were selected in 2009.12 ~2010.4 in our department for treatment of acute pain of nerve root type of cervical spondylosis,male 25 cases,female 36 cases,age 27~52 years old,average 40.6 years old,were accorded with the inclusive criteria.The patients were randomly divided into 2 groups,A group: patients were given 0.9% sodium chloride injection of methylprednisolone sodium succinate for injection of 100ml + 40mg,intravenous drip,2 times / day,3 days for a course;B group: patients were given 20% 125ml of mannitol intravenous drip,2 times / day,3 days for a course.On the visual analog scale(VAS) assessment of pain patients before and after treatment,curative effect comparison of two kinds of therapeutic methods for acute pain of nerve root type of cervical spondylosis.Results Two treatment method can effectively reduce the nerve root type cervical spondylosis symptoms integral,and the two group of significant efficiency,efficiency,inefficiency,there were no significant differences(P 0.05).Conclusion Most patients symptoms significantly reduced by two treatment method,and which can be clinically applied to alleviate the acute pain of cervical spondylosis of nerve root type.
