AN ANALYSIS OF THE JOURNALS IN COLLEGES & UNIVERSITIES IN HENANPROVINCE SELECTED BY THE CORE JOURNAL TABLE

Abstract

The paper gives a brief account of the six types of core journal table in the present stage of China,and counts up the journals selected by the table in colleges universities of Henan Province.The results show that there are 20 journals in Henan selected by various types of core journal table,accounting for 25% of the total of journals in Henan.The overall academic quality is about equal to that of the national average but their academic quality is there to be further improved.The journals in Henan should follow the development path of professional characteristics.
