Abstract
Dynamic characteristics of the system supported by two radial magnetic bearings, one axial magnetic bearing and one magnetic damper are studied in this paper.Compared with the system without magnetic damper, supporting damping of the system increases obviously and the vibration of the system can be reduced effectively, especially when it operates on the first two bending critical speeds. This helps the system to get across the first two bending critical speeds safely and operate on 16 000 rotations per minute.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
