On a Consideration and Exploration of the Chinese Trade Union Theories and Practice in the Transition Period

In a socialist market economy and in the process of changing an operating mechanism the trade union work should have new contents. The trade unions should consider some questions such as a view of self-dependence, the contradiction of two-way protection, the focus of democratic management in enterprises and the position of trade unions in enterprises. The trade unions should explore a fresh mechanism of trade union organizations in a new situation, a new thinking of the trade union work and create a new situation of the trade union work.
