Abstract

[Objective] To investigate the expression and clinical significance of Bcl-2,p53 and PCNA in breast neoplasm.[Methods] The expression of Bcl-2,p53 and PCNA was examined by SP immunohistochemical method in breast neoplasm.[Results] ①The positive expression percentage of Bcl-2 was 81.4% in breast cancer,93.3% in precancerous lesions and 66.7% in breast benign neoplasm. The difference was statistically significant in these three groups(P0.05).The expression of Bcl-2 protein was significantly related with lymphonode metastasis and histological grading of beast cancer(P0.01).②The positive expression percentage of p53 protein was 46.5% in breast cancer,23.2% in precancerous lesions and 0% in breast benign neoplasm. The difference was statistically significant in these three groups(P0.05).③The positive expression percentage of PCNA was 74.4% in breast cancer,70.0% in precancerous lesions and 70.0% in breast benign neoplasm. The expression of PCNA was significantly related to histological grading of beast cancer(P0.01).[Conclusion] The excessive expression of Bcl-2,p53 and PCNA protein may play an important role in the malignant transformation of breast tissue.
