Determination of total flavonoids in Xiaokechuan syrup by differential spectrophotometry

Abstract

OBJECTIVE To determine total flavonoids in Xiaokechuan syrup and provide the method of quality control.METHODS Differential spectrophotometry was applied without prior separation.RESULTS The corresponding average recovery and the relative standard deviation of flavonoids were 100.02% and 1.19%,respectively.CONCLUSION This method is simple,quick and accurate.
