【Objective】To explore the relationship between early expression of tumor necrosis factor-α and ventricular arrhythmias in rats with acute myocardial infarction(AMI).【Methods】Rats with AMI were induced by left anterior descending coronary branch ligation.The mRNA and protein expression levels of TNF-α were detected by real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR and histochemistry on 8 times: 10min、20min、30min、60min、3h、6h、12h、24h after infarction.Electrocardiogram was recorded.inflammatory cells were detected by pathology.【Results】The mRNA and protein expression levels of TNF-α were higher in MI group than S group from 10min after infarction.TNF-α mainly expressed in the cardiocyte in infarction zone and cardiocyte endochylema in non-infarction zone.There were not differences in MI group and S group of the inflammatory cells at 10min、20min.There were differences in MI group and S group of the inflammatory cells from 3h.The frequency of ventricular arrhythmias was higher in MI group than in S group(P0.05)and the occurrence time of ventricular arrhythmias coincided with the secretion of TNF-α.【Conclusion】There is much early expression of tumor necrosis factor-α in rats with acute myocardial infarction and it may be related with the ventricular arrhythmias after AMI.
