Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is a kind of chronic inflammatory disease characterized by hyperplasia of synovium and pannus formation. As more oxygen and nutrition are need in synovium hyperplasia, the generation of new vessels is important in pannus generation.Inhibiting new generated vessels may be of efficiency in future treatment of RA with hyper-vascularized pannus. This paper reviewed the research progress of formation and inhibition of new vessels in RA.
