Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis( RA) is a systemic,an autoimmune disease with symmetric polyarthritis as main clinical manifestations, interactions of a variety of inflammatory cytokines in the anoxic environment and vascular synovial pannus formation, and further erosion of cartilage and subchondral matrix eventually lead to joint deformity and loss of function. Therefore, inhibition of angiogenesis in RA may become an effective strategy for the future treatment of RA. Here is to make a review of the mechanism of inhibition of angiogenesis research and the therapeutic targets.
