Abstract

Objective To observe clinical efficacy of desloratadine combined with famotidine in the treatment of chronic urticaria. Methods The cases of chronic urticaria were divided into treatment group and control group. The patients in the treatment group were orally given desloratadine and famotidine for 14 days, and those in the control group were only given desloratadine for 14 days. Results The total effective rates in treatment group and control group were 87.5% and 70.8% respectively, there was a significant difference in the effective rates in two groups (χ 2=4.423,P0.05).The adverse effect was mild. Conclusion Compared with desloratadine for the treatment of chronic urticaria ,desloratadine combined with famotidine can increase clinical efficacy.
