Abstract
Objective:To evaluate effects and safety of glycyrrhizin combined with desloratadine in treatment of chronic urticaria. Methods:One hundred and six patients were divided equally into two groups by opening randomized grouping to evaluate the effects and safety of desloratadine 5 mg daily combined with glycyrrhizin 75 mg three times a day(Group A)and desloratadine 5 mg daily(Group B).in treating chronic urticaria each group. Results:In group A,there were 46/53(healing+apparent,86.8%) marked improved, while in group B,the result were 27/53(healing+apparent.52.8%)(x~2=14.50,P0.01). There were no obvious side effects in two groups in clinic observations. Conclusions:Glycyrrhizin in combination of desloratadine in the treatment of chronic urticaria is effective and safe.
