Abstract
Objective To explore the value of HR-MRI,DWI sequence in preoperative staging of rectal cancer. Methods Retrospective analysis MRI of 28 patients with rectal cancer, identify TME related structures, using conventional sequence and its combination of HR-MRI,DWI sequence for TN-staging in patients with rectal cancer and comparison with the pathological results. Results Combined with HR-MRI,DWI sequence, the accuracy of T1 staging was 96. 43%,T2 was 85. 71%,T3 was 92. 86% and T4 was 100%,and the accuracy of N staging was82. 14%,the sensitivity was 87. 5% and Youden index was 0. 625. these parameters were obviously higher than these of the conventional sequence( P = 0. 012). Conclusion Combined with HR-MRI,DWI can obviously improve the accuracy of the preoperative T and N stage.
