Abstract

In the multi-criteria comprehensive evaluation, analytical hierarchy process is a common way to decide the index weight. However,an obvious shortcoming of it is its subjectivity. To solve this problem,an approximate ideal solution is introduced in the analytical hierarchy process, and a new method of deciding the index weight-TOPSIS-ARP is established and applied to the linear weighted comprehensive evaluation model.Practice shows that this method determines the index weight in the evaluation of city comprehensive strength and the result is more practical.
