Abstract
Objective: To observe clinical effects of JianPi DaoZhiTang in the treatment for irritable bowel syndrome(IBS) of diarrhea pattern complicated with incomplete evacuation.Method: Sixty patients were randomized into treatment group and control group equally.Treatment group received JianPi DaoZhiTang,control group took loperamide and bifidobacteria.Both groups were treated for four weeks.Result: Treatment group after treating were superior to before treating in total effective rate and symptoms of diarrhea.Comparison between treatment group and control group demonstrated statistical meaning in improvements of abdominal pain,incomplete evacuation and abdominal distention(P0.05).Conclusion: JianPi DaoZhiTang,effective in treating IBS,should be widely applied.
