Abstract
BACKGROUNDTo study the therapeutic effects of radiofrequency thermocoagulation for (refractory) trigeminal neuralgia in the gasserian ganglion.CASE REPORTS7 cases of (refractory) (trigeminal) (neuralgia) were treated by radiofrequency thermocoagulation in the gasserian ganglion, the treatment effects was significant after operation, no serious complication occurred in all patients,2 cases showed recurrence after (following) up 1 year.DISCUSSIONRadiofrequency thermocoagulation is a handy safe efficient method to treat the trigeminal neuralgia, and it is necessary to grasp operating skill proficiently in the clinical work, and to (reduce) the rates of complication and recurrence.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
