Abstract

Through analyzing the factors that influence exhaust heat loss, such as flue gas temperature and excess air, energy saving potential of waste heat recovery for oil-fired boiler in different flue gas temperature is calculated. Both theoretical calculations and economic analysis show that condensing heat recovery technology can enable the optimal recovery of both sensible and latent heat in exhaust flue gas and significantly reduce the exhaust heat loss.Thermal efficiency of oil-fired boiler can be increased 8% when the temperature of flue gas is reduced from 195℃ to 40℃.The potential of condensing heat recovery is remarkable.
